Zero Tolerance Policy For Inappropriate Behaviour
A zero tolerance policy towards violent, threatening and abusive behaviour is now in place throughout the National Health Service. The practice has a policy that rudeness, swearing, abusive, threatening or intimidating behaviour towards any member of staff or other patients will not be tolerated and will result in removal from our practice list and will be reported to the police.
Overseas Visitors
Relative and friends of patients from overseas are welcome at the practice if they fall ill during their visit. Details are available at reception.
Interpreters
Interpreters can be booked for patients who need assistance during consultations. Please note that 24 hours' notice is required for booking this service.
Freedom Of Information – Publication Scheme
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the ‘classes’ of information the practice intends to routinely make available.
This scheme is available from reception.
Fit Notes
For the first seven days of an illness, you can use a self certificate form which is available from the surgery. After seven days you will require a Fit Note and this will require you to book an appointment with the GP.
