Patient Participation Group

Patient Participation Groups are developed as a way to extend patient involvement in the general practice.

A format that encourages people to engage with the NHS at the same time as engaging in their own health care.

PPG Members can provide practical support for the practice.

We hold regular PPG meeting in practice and listen to their suggestions. We implement PPG suggestions in our practice service. We always welcome our patients to join PPG.

This year following suggestions from PPG have been implemented in the practice service:

To increase telephone consultation
Zero Tolerance Policy must be applied in all cases
Genuine Patients should be given appointments in walk in surgery on priority basis

Our PPG meets every two months on Thursdays at 1.00pm. The Practice Manager will arrange the date of the meeting and inform the PPG members. Everyone is welcome to join us.
