If you would like to have a telephone consultation, please leave your name, address, telephone number as well as the reason for the consultation in as much detail as possible with the reception staff. The doctor will ring you at the end of surgery and assess the patient’s condition over the telephone. The result will likely be one of the following:
- Advice will be given over the phone eliminating the need for a face-to-face consultation.
- Arrangements will be made for a prescription to be ready to collect from reception later on that day.
- If it is considered urgent a face-to-face appointment for sometime that day will be arranged.
If you or a member of your family is suffering from a serious problem such as severe chest pain or severe bleeding call an ambulance (tel: 999) before calling the surgery.
If you or members of your family are suffering with an illness that require treatment the same day, please telephone the surgery and we will try to accommodate you.
